On February 23, iMarketKorea (CEO Hyun Man Young, http://www.imarketkorea.com) held the "2007 Sourcing Policy Conference" at the FKI Center, in Yeouido, Seoul, to lay out their major business tasks for the year, as well as to hold an award ceremony for outstanding suppliers.

The annual event, held for the 7th year in a row, has the twofold aim of finding new ways for the mutual growth of iMarketKorea and its suppliers, and extending gratitude to the suppliers who have strived for the development of iMarketKorea.

The conference was attended by representatives from approximately 350 of iMarketKorea's suppliers, and among these, Sung Jun Electric, Hong Sung Corp, SBB Tech, Dong Hae Steel, and Pack ENG were selected as outstanding suppliers and recognized for their impressive revenue performance and service quality.

In addition to the award ceremony, iMarketKorea's new sourcing and logistics policies for 2007 were introduced, followed by a presentation about W-mall, an SME specialized shopping mall, and i-catch, an e-catalogue cooperation tool.

CEO Man-Young Hyun said, "We will continuously present a variety of ways that iMarketKorea and our suppliers can achieve mutual growth, to strengthen the true meaning of symbiotic management. We will become more proactive in discovering and nurturing outstanding suppliers, in order to contribute to strengthening our national competitiveness."
