- Service offered to 800 client companies and 4,000 suppliers nationwide
- Items handled expanded to include dangerous and costly articles
On March 2nd, iMarketKorea, the biggest MRO specialized company in Korea (CEO Man-Young Hyun; www.imarketkorea.com) expanded its logistics service, with the initiation of its nationwide collection and shipping service.
Logistics, collection and shipping services, which in the past had only been provided to some regions, were expanded to nationwide operations, shortening delivery lead times while enabling suppliers to further cut logistics costs.
Shipping services, which had previously only been provided to 195 client companies will now be expanded to cover all 800 client companies. Collection services, which had in the past been only provided in 30 different regions (Seoul, Gyeonggi, Busan, Gumi, etc.) will now be expanded to all 4,000 suppliers nationwide.
Furthermore, the scope of items handled will expand to include costly articles (valued up to USD 5 thousand) and over-sized items (up to 50kg in weight and 2m in length). iMarketKorea will also handle dangerous articles, such as acids and inflammable items. This change means that iMarketKorea can now swiftly respond to requests for delivery of low quantity, low cost orders.
Man-Young Hyun, CEO of iMarketKorea, announced, "This year, our innovation in logistics will satisfy not only customers but also suppliers, through constantly improving our nationwide collection service, shipping service, and logistics service."
